Set on "370 acres of lovely grounds", minutes from Princeton, this "unique" resort woos conferences and retreats for "very restful" stays; accommodations are in rooms in the main building or in bed-and-breakfast–style units in the separate historic Laurie House, and loyalists like the "welcoming feeling" in the "lounge area" with fireplace, the rooms featuring "large beds" and "puffy pillows, "spacious desks for work" and baths with "lots of towels", and the "excellent" "customer service"; still, some maintenance issues, so-so food and an "out-of-the-way" location take it down a few notches.

Size of room.
Noise from room above can be heard.

They need to put lights at the entrance - it is impossible to find at night.

Was beautiful and rural.
Weird place with all of the euthanasia focus.

Hotel was amazing but very rural and difficult to find. Room over-looked a lake and beds were very comfortable and amenities perfection. Also all of the staff were friendly in every way.

The beds were very comfy.
The entire hotel, but mainly the room had a strange odor that permeated our clothes and stayed with us.

Clean spacious rooms, great price, great restaurant.
Out of the way from Princeton, thrown out of hotel a day early.

Great value for the money. Very clean, safe, and staff was courteous. Manager told me that I had to leave on Monday, one day early because they had a conference. This was extremely inconvenient for me. They relocated us to the Nauset Inn in Princeton, which was small, dirty, old, and not very friendly. ...read more

The hotel was like a hidden hideaway from everything.
Didn't appreciate the roof being fix 7:00am above us.

A country setting nestled around trees. A very nice surprise. Contemporary design. Designed for business meetings. Nice exercising room. Other activities on grounds include swimming, basketball courts, tennis courts, and volleyball. Would be a nice place to hold a wedding. ...read more
